Mouth Ulcers From Cancer Treatment Endorsements

In the fall of 2000 I was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma of the right shoulder. At first I was scared. Then I fought back with surgery, chemotherapy, radiation -- the works.

I assumed my professional background (I'm a Registered Dental Hygienist) would help me alleviate the severe oral sores and inflammation caused by the chemotherapy and radiation treatments. But I was wrong. And when my physicians recommended baking soda rinses and warm salt water, the oral pain and ulceration got even worse. I was at my wits' end!

One day I told my friend, Maryann, how much my mouth was hurting, and how the pain made it difficult to eat. She suggested I try your Squigle® Toothpaste. Maryann had been a chronic canker sore sufferer due to SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) -- an ingredient found in most toothpastes. SLS-free Squigle® had stopped her canker sores completely. But would it help a cancer patient like me?

When I first brushed with Squigle®, my mouth pain decreased immediately, and my mouth sores started to heal. Within 4 days, my mouth sores and mouth pain disappeared completely. And when I received a follow up dose of chemotherapy, I experienced minor mouth soreness for 3 days. Likewise, when I received a follow up dose of radiation treatment, no mouth problems occurred. Squigle® Toothpaste is a wonder product!

Squigle® is the only toothpaste I now use. It's extremely soothing, mild, and great tasting! And I'm happy to know that clinical tests show that Squigle® Toothpaste prevents tooth decay and gum disease better than conventional toothpaste.

Cancer patients should start using Squigle® Toothpaste before undergoing any treatment. Then they should use it forever!

My name is Helen Johnson. I'm 50 years old, and I was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 48. I went through chemotherapy for one year. Shortly after I began the treatments, I developed side effects, one of which was mouth sores. These mouth sores caused me to be unable to use regular toothpaste. Regular toothpaste would cause my mouth to burn like it was on fire.

About 5 months into this hell, I went to visit my oncologist. I pleaded with her to give me something to stop the pain. She examined my mouth, and then she gave me a tube of Squigle® Toothpaste. From the first brushing, I could use Squigle® without pain, and I could feel the ulcers begin to heal. It took a while, but thanks to Squigle® my mouth ulcers finally healed, even though I was still receiving chemotherapy! Of course, I've been using Squigle® ever since.

I want all cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy to know that they can get relief from mouth sores just as I did. Squigle® really worked for me! Also, Squigle® Toothpaste has strengthened my teeth, because I have gotten less cavities since I started using it.

When I was undergoing chemotherapy for colon cancer, the lining of my mouth was sloughing off and bleeding. I had trouble eating anything solid, and brushing my teeth became impossible because of the pain caused by my toothpaste. I tried a number of toothpastes, but none of them helped.

I am grateful to a friend who introduced me to Squigle® Toothpaste. I used it with a child's soft toothbrush, and found -- to my relief -- that I could resume and maintain good oral hygiene, without pain and burning. I reported this improvement to my oncology nurse, so that other patients could benefit from using Squigle® Toothpaste.

I also want to say that Squigle® has a very pleasant texture and flavor. I intend to use it for the rest of my life.
